Massage Contraindications
The following conditions are contraindications that will prevent you from having an Environ treatment using the Ionzyme® DF Machine, so please read carefully before booking in for an appointment.
- Infected skin disorders or diseases
- Herpes simplex
- Delicate, hypersensitive skin prone to allergies and highly vascular (telangiectasia/couperose) skin conditions
- Inflammation, swelling or sun burned skin
- Pacemaker
- Pregnancy
- Epilepsy
- Porphyria
- Multiple sclerosis
- Open cuts, wounds and abrasions
- Excessive metal fillings in the teeth and metal pins or plates in the face
- Botox or Dermal Filler injections – no treatment for two weeks post aesthetic treatments
- Ear Damage – includes tinnitus, shooting and driving accidents, ear infections and hearing implants require doctor’s consent before having sonophoresis treatment
